"Real Public Relations in the Real World"

SPECIAL EVENTS

We live increasingly in the age of 'fifteen minutes of fame' for all. The average newspaper reader, the average television watcher, and the average film-goer are swamped with incredible images. The public is so familiar with the unusual, that they have become blasé.

It is therefore difficult to create and stage a Special Event that will have the right impact. Will the right people see it? Will they remember it? Will they understand the central message?

A good event does not have to be spectacular nor cost the earth. What it should be is audience-focussed, cost-effective, relevant, memorable, and probably most importantly, a media opportunity.

For many companies, the most suitable Special Event is an Exhibition. These vary from small local trade shows to huge exhibitions at the NEC or any other massive show venue in Europe. And, for many companies, the Trade Exhibition is ideal.

There are other occasions, such as Product Launches, that need a more individual focus. Some services, such as perhaps the opening of a new Health Farm, might require a press launch in situ. A charity might benefit from a highly publicised church tower abseil. A new wine was launched in the UK with a game of Golf played across the Thames!

Working closely with our clients, there are no limits - other than imagination (within budget, of course!).
